Acer Aspire S7-392-9890 13.3-Inch Discounts

Steve West (Washington, DC) :
PRO: It's light and has long battery live.
CON: wireless adapter disconnects a lot and won't reconnect unless you do a restart on the system (MAJOR ISSUE)
Can't rest it on your lap or on any non-hard surface as it will block the intake fan for the CPU.

Joe User "thirtysomething" (US, US) :
This is almost a totally perfect laptop. Thin, light and pretty. Almost the perfect travel companion.
Alas I can't reliably type the space key with it. I'm not a light typist. In fact I've been told I pound on the keys when I type on keyboards. But even so the space bar won't register half the time. Its not a subtle occasional flaw. Its all the time. Deal breaker.
Others have reported similar issues with other keys. Except for the space I quite like the keyboard. If you don't need the space its the perfect machine buy it. If you type, well you might want to look elsewhere.

Hach (Nashville, TN USA) :
After checking out Lenovo, Apple, Dell I decided to purchase ACER S7 13.3 inch screen with Intel core i7 (7th gen), 8G memory and 256G SSD. This ultra book performs very well and most importantly unlike other brands it doesn't get hot at all regardless how long you use it. It is not cheap, but, if you are looking for an ultra book with strong performance, touch screen, thinner than MacBook than this would be a good choice at the time of this review. ACER can further improve the quality by better laying out the keyboard. Keyboard works well, however some keys are too close to each other which can be annoying sometimes.
