Acer Aspire S7-392-6832 13.3-Inch Discounts

I purchased this for my 17-year-old daughter. She loves it. The hard drive doesn't have a lot of capacity, but as a student, she doesn't need a lot.

After only a week this very beautiful yet badly made ultra went dead . The build quality is terrible . The charger stem looks like something you would get with a 10 dollar electric toy . Acer was a mess when I attempted to get some help ,they even asked if I wanted to PAY for software help on a NEW ITEM ???? Amazon - The customer service at Amazon has gone from the best in the business to now the worst!Spent five hours on the phone getting the run around.......promise after promise of help and then NOTHING.NEXT time I buy quality and service. Amazon sells millions of products ,I can by no means hold them accountable for the quality of all the items they sell but I can and do hold them responsible for their customer care and help which is Horrible !! Ps After spending some time reading other reviews I see many others are in the same situation with Amazon.

Acer Aspire S7-6832 is a great ultrabook, I wish we could keep it. But the space bar has some manufacturing problems. We bought our first Aspire S7 few weeks back and have noticed that while typing, the space bar intermittently does not work, i.e. you would have to press it more than once or twice to get a "space" returned -- very annoying when you type fast. So, we returned the 1st machine and got 2nd one thinking that we got a bad machine. After the 2nd ultarbook has arrived we noticed that the "space bar" is even worst as compared to the first one, i.e. does not return a space character 100% of the time. After careful examination, we've noticed that the issue is emphasized when you hit the space bar at the bottom of the space bar, if you hit it on the top or just in center it works 100% of the time, but if you hit anywhere else it works only 70% of the time -- not acceptable when you spent $1,300 for a ultrabook. So, with great sadness we are returning this machine and will try to get another brand.
